A Bit Early For This Sweater

I like how my outfit photos are just getting worse and worse. I've got to think of something to do in order to remedy that. It's just so hard when it's dark when I go to work, almost dark when I get home, and then freezing during the day. Bah. Any suggestions for a solution?

I'm wearing: F21 dress, vintage sweater from Mom, Walgreens tights, Claire's leg warmers, Delia's boots.

Greg, my dad and I are watching Planet Earth right now, the episode about deep seas. Holy shit. What if you had to live down there? With the "vampire squid from hell"? And writhing foot-long pill bugs, eels, and giant crabs devouring carcasses that have drifted down from the sunlit sea above? Blarrrrghh! I have the heebie jeebies now. X-TREME willies.

"Who needs sci fi when you've got this, y'know?" says Dad, taking a sip of Blue Moon. I should probably get back to that then. Have a glorious Thanksgiving, fellow Americans! ♥

I love that skirt! And it's never too late for a cute Christmas sweater, IMO.

I just won an excellent pair of similar boots off from Ebay! We're like moccasin boot twins.

Planet Earth is awesome. I would hate to live in the ocean.

Most random and disjointed comment ever! My apologies.

I'm loving that vintage sweater. I'm so obsessed with sweaters and dresses right now!

You know what gives me the heebie jeebies? Bed bugs. Seriously, this whole outbreak of bed bugs has me inspecting my sheets each night before bed. Ick.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving Meg! :)

Oh my goodness, the Planet Earth about the bottom of the ocean freaked me out as well! That vampire squid is terrifying!
Anyway, I love your reindeer sweater. Never too early!

Awesome sweater, totally jealous of you being able to wear boots, tights, AND a sweater with your adorable skirt.
If I add tights to my ensemble, I may perish of heat exhaustion. Here's hoping for cooler weather tomorrow so I can wear the tights I want to wear to Thanksgiving dinner!

Happy Turkey Day!

I don't think it's too early! My mom had some sweaters like that and I figure if they're deer, and not Santa's sleigh, then they're winter sweaters rather than Christmas ones.

Feel your pain on the photo front. Haven't even tried to do outfit shots since getting back from Barcelona. It too dark even in the middle of the day, pfff.

I don't think your photos are bad at all! I don't know if it's the warm tones to them or what, but it almost reminds me of pictures out of UO magazines. Really natural!

I love your dad's comment, btw. Because it's totally true, there's some creepy stuff in the endless, blue deep!

And I'm with everyone else- those are plain deer until after today. Then they're the more festive reindeer! It compliments the red flower tones in your skirt- so it looks just great together!

Yay for Christmas sweaters! Red really suits you.

/THAT/ looks like the kind o' sweater I would have despised as a child. I can imagine being given it for Christmas from an elderly relative and being told to wear it which I would have found nasty and inconvenient. But hey! I think it's something swell, now :) I like the color and the raindeeds, it's super jovial!

And to the person who said something about the "outbreak of bed bugs" Was there really an outbreak? And if so, do you think the outbreak is also happening in Queensland?

I LOVE PLANET EARTH. The deep sea episode is frightening though.
