This Post is Ill-Advised

That photo is a nice summary of my Saturday. Couldn't be arsed, wore jeans. Drank a 20oz double-shot latte, went on tumblr and fangirled all over the place regarding Dragon Age 2, and then ran 'round in circles before picking up Dragon Age: Origins and playing that for about... 9 hours, give or take.

I've had "The Last Thing On Your Mind" by Lights stuck in my head for the past 48 hours or so.

Just submitted a secret to fandom!secrets. It is 2:55am.

I also drank 3 Dr Peppers this evening.

What is my life.

I think I might quit this blog. I won't say anything for sure, like, "I'M LEAVING THE BLOGOSPHERE FOR GOOD" or, "I WANT TO EXPERIENCE REAL LIFE AND NOT THIS INTERNET MONSTER" because nothing could be further from the truth. That would probably be the healthy thing to do, but... nah. Lately I just really don't give a crap, to be quite honest. My blog was something to make me feel like I was accomplishing things in life, and it made me be creative, but now I'm going to school in the fall and I kind of... I kind of just don't care anymore because I don't need it anymore.

We'll see though, because I really love all the people I've met in the blogosphere (lawl blogosphere), and I'll always love clothes and fashion and getting dressed up, but I just don't think this blog is really going anywhere. Maybe my narcissism and vanity will change that, but don't be surprised if the outfit posts stop or peter off into nothing.

This is becoming redundant. It's 3:00 in the morning, give me a break! I guess maybe I should go to bed then. Have a Fenris.

I would be sad if you quit doing this blog because I only discovered it a few months ago! I would be cool to see how you get on in the UK. But I also understand your reasons for wanting to quit, so good luck with whatever you do!

The important thing is that you do what's best for you and have a hell of a good time doing so <3 Plus, yay England! Even if you don't do outfits any more and just post about your time over there I'd for sure stick around.

SPEAKING OF DRAGON AGE 2.................

I've told myself Im going to wait to try it out until after my summer class, otherwise I just won't get any studying done. And then I'll fail this class, won't get accepted into my program, be poor, get kicked out of my house, and finally become a homeless person rifling through the dumpster at the local Dairy Queen. It'd be awful. But be prepared to be spam twittered when I finally do get to play it and drool all over the place. haha

I would be sad too if you quit! Your blog is like 90% of what I wish my blog could be (all fangirling and enthusiasm and energy, though maybe that's just all the Dr. Pepper you drink haha) And, I want to hear about your England time, f'real!

I would miss you if you go. You could always blog about your experiences in London this fall. I know I'd like to see that since I miss it terribly and cannot possibly afford to fly there from California while living off student loans.

Aw, Meg! I'll be sad to see you go, if you do, but I understand. Do what makes you happy, and fuck the rest!

Pfffff. But I LIKE YOUR BLOG SO MUCH. Whine.

Especially the outfit posts. And your appreciation for Holmes. And the Doctors (Pepper and Who, not that awful show where everyone submits their embarrassing medical problems [ I have no teeth! My husband farts all the time! Is it safe to use dish detergent on my baby?] to a panel of dubious experts on live television.)

But I digress. I hope you will post sporadically. The world, and the blogosphere, need to be reminded that nerds have style too.

Please don't leave! If you must take a break, that's fine! However, you have many readers who want to live vicariously through you while you are at school in the UK! Perhaps you don't have to photograph your outfits or document your style, but maybe shift this blog towards more...documentation of the changes your life is about to make! I started my blog when I moved to Switzerland and nothing is better than going through my old posts to reflect!
If you must go, I shalt miss you terribly!

Hahaha to Becky's comment!

Dude, DON'T DO IT. Actually, do whatever makes you feel best. I love you and your blog but it should be fun and not feel like homework. I honestly think it would be awesome if you made this a kind of life blog and documented your life at school and posted more of your art!

I will still stalk you on fb though. Muwhahahahaha!

I am kind of feeling the same drain and drag about my blog...I'd miss your posts if you left entirely, but I'd love to pick your brain about grad school in the UK.

I love how passionate you are about video games...that's really cool. You and my boyfriend would definitely get along really well. I really hope you don't stop blogging, but you have to do what's best for you. Good luck with school in the fall!

i've been feeling the same way about blogging lately, and after taking half a road trip around the southwest i am not sure how to blog and still live the kind of life i want to live. i have LOVED getting to know other bloggers, but i'm starting to just feel kind of bored of the whole thing... ohhhh life. and i am just NOT IN THE MOOD to take pictures of myself. we'll see if that changes... maybe it's just a summertime slump. seems like a lot of bloggers are feeling the same way and switching away from fashion blogs to other things. maybe that's the right route. we'll see :)
