Wasn't going to take outfit photos today, because I'm a lazy butt, but then I realized I don't think I've done any outfits for the blog with this awesome sweater. And I had to take pictures of the sequin-shoulder sweater!
I'm wearing: H&M sweater, F21 skirt, Target flats and tights.
Back to my go-to outfit! Skirt, flats, sweater. Sometimes I go crazy and wear boots instead of flats. But yeah, nothing too exciting, but that suits me just fine. As long as I have sequined shoulders.
So Halloween! What are you guys planning on doing for the holiday? Dressing up? I plan to have a Super Fun Halloween, because for the past several Halloweens I've had, they all sucked and were totally disappointing. This year will be different! I'm going to finally give up on trying to make my own unique and obscure costumes, and just buy something at the store. Every time I make a costume it looks awful and nobody can tell what it is. So no more! I will be recognizable, by jove, and I'm going to have fun. I am resolved. So what are you kids being for Halloween? I'm super curious!

I'll be in New York on Halloween, so I don't think I'll get to wear a costume. I'll carry some cat ears around with me or something just in case, ha! The only time I ever made a really good costume was when I dressed up at Ms.Lovett from Sweeney Todd. No one knew who I was, but I think it looked AWESOME.

Ok first off, best sweater ever maybe? I think so.
Secondly. I totally know the whole work-on-costume-grueling-hours-night-and-day-and-then-have-no-one-recognize-you feeling. For example, I worked very hard on my Tangled Up In Blue costume. It took lots of blue cellophane and lots of tape and lots of time. Everyone thought I was something from Star Trek, and that was AFTER I told them I was a song. This year I think I will be Wendy from Peter Pan and I will make my sister be Peter because she'd be a perfect Peter. If they don't recognize Wendy, I'll punch 'em.
Just kidding.
I'm in love with this post. With the cute preppy skirt, and the AWESOME sweater that looks like those things at J Crew they have the nerve to charge like, 200 bucks for. And because it's adorable and sparkly. And your hair is so cute!! Gah. I know it always looks like that, but I think it looks especially good here.

For Halloween, I still don't know. I'll never be able to top my David Bowie circa Aladdin Sane costume from years ago, so I'll probably just be something lame. But fun will definitely be had. :)

Whoaaaaa!!!! That sweater looks ultra fab! I tend to shun from sequins because they're tedious to wash (I'm a throw-everything-into-the-washing-machine kind of girl), but they always look so good, and this is no exception. *__*

Hahaha, i can totally relate to the obscure homemade halloween costumes. I was Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and everyone just thought I was a homeless woman. This year I'm being a man with a mustache and bowler hat and bowtie, yeah, though I have failed several times with the home made halloween costumes I am not giving up. By the way I love the sweater!
