High-Density Stress

Lately I can't shake the feeling that I'm forgetting something, or that I'm putting something off, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. I've been picking at my fingers and waking up in the night, can't digest my food properly (maybe TMI but I don't care), and am generally a denser ball of anxiety than usual, which is truly disturbing. I'm like a white dwarf of tension. One teaspoon of my anxiety weighs the same as Mount Everest.

Also I've been experimenting with not actually shampooing my hair for over a week now, and I'm waiting for my hair to go back to its normal state. It was super greasy a few days ago but now it's getting better! I think? I dunno. I just felt like my hair was really dry and every time I washed it it was gross and crunchy so I'm trying to hydrate my poor follicles or whatever.

I'm wearing: F21 dress and belt, Target beret, shoes c/o Blowfish.

I rediscovered this badass pom-pom beret while going through the mountain of old/forgotten clothes in my closet a few weeks ago. Sadsauce that I found it in spring, it's rather a winter hat, but I wore it yesterday anyway! Rebellion! ...Not really at all but yeah.

I've decided to take outfit pictures every day if I can, but only post on the blog every other day. That way I'll hopefully not get behind so much on my posts, and I won't overload you all with constant posting. I think this is a glorious idea and I am a genius.

Holy crap I wore more than one color yesterday WHAT IS HAPPENING.

I know you're not a long-time or classic Doctor Who fan, but Elisabeth Sladen who was in episodes for the past couple doctors (but she originated with the 3rd and 4th doctors as a companion as Sarah-Jane Smith) just died of cancer. It is sad. Just thought I'd let you know.

anyway that is a cute hat. I wash my hair every 3 days because you are really damaging and drying out hair with over washing. Your hair looks shiny and nice and healthy to me though! you always look beautiful though.

You look great :)

Darn anxiety. I am sure you know all the home remedies already but just in case here is all the obvious crud: keep physically active (big anxiety burner), don't get dehydrated, make sure you get your vitamins and try and keep your sleep pattern in order. If you're unhappy with your sleep pattern try and normalize that first. Hairballs of anxiety need their sleep ;)

Anyway - feel more chilled soon!

In an effort to revitalise my hair I didn't wash it with shampoo and conditioner for just over 6 months. It worked, it got back to 'normal' i.e. not feeling dirty after about 2 weeks, and I just washed it every few days with luke warm water. It was harder as my hair got longer though, my hair was only a short bob when I started but yeah..

So happy to see you in that dress! <3 Also, I, too, have been experimenting with shampooing once or twice a week and I have had more compliments on my hair than I have ever had. Win-win! Curly hair is way dryer than straight hair, so we curlies need to go easy. Cute outfit!!

Love the dress! And don't worry about stress, everyone has some now and then. I know I'm pretty overwhelmed with school right now. But like everything else it comes in waves and it'll pass.

It's actually healthier for your hair if you don't wash it constantly :) So grease ball or not, your hair will thank you for it!

Boo to being so full of anxiety! Hopefully it all subsides for you soon so you don't explode.

That hat is the best shade of blue that ever existed, and it's a totally acceptable to wear in spring.

Wait, so if I don't wash my hair for awhile, and it gets greasy, it will eventually get less greasy? Like without shampooing again?

I love this dress! It's so pretty, and the platforms look really good with it too.
I have pretty bad anxiety sometimes too! It's sooo frustrating, for me it often has to do with school or that stuff. I hope you feel better

YOUR HAT! Oh my gosh, that hat is just too cute! I also love your dress and your shoes, but I'm kind of just stuck on how awesome your hat is! Okay, ending hat gushing now.

So I just realized that I pretty much have all of the proper ingredients to recreate this outfit. Yep, I refer to clothing as ingredients. We should just dress as twins all the time because that wouldn't be lame AT ALL. You look beautiful Meg, as you always do. I hope you start to de-stress soon and feel better! xoxo

Eep, Meg, I'm so sorry you're going through a rough patch. I've been feeling the exact same way lately and it's definitely no bueno. I definitely plan on stealing your white dwarf analogy to use in conversation, though. I hope your anxiety eases a little. ♥

But at the very least, you look adorable? (I'm adding the question mark because that feels like such an asinine comment to make following my first paragraph D:) I love the dress and those shoes make your stems look awesome. I might copy everyone else on the blogosphere and get me a pair because they are the cutest.

I really should stop washing my hair so much because I have the opposite problem. My hair gets greasy even a few hours after I wash it. This summer I'm just going to be a stinky mess when no one's around to see me.

Love that floral dress, the sleeves are so cute! Eeekkk, the husband is yelling at me to get off the computer, so I have to cut this short. You rock and I love your clothes.

Adorable outfit lady! That dress looks super comfy. I could never go a week without shampoo. I feel like my hair gets greasy if I don't wash it after one day.

I god, I need to be doing homework right now. Bye!
