Elbow Patches Rule

As usual when my womanly moon cycle comes around, I feel an intense craving for baked goods and chocolate. Chocolate donuts in particular. I want donuts so much right now it hurts. When will they invent a zero-calorie donut? Or better yet, when will I become one of those people who loves to exercise? Never, for both, but I can't help but fantasize.

I'm wearing: Target dress and tights, H&M cardi, hat made by coworker.

Some of the people at work have been obsessed with making knit hats lately, and since my coworkers are awesome, one of the girls made this one for me! There's a lot of down time at work for us, so we often take up crafts or puzzles to make the time pass. I'm a fan of my iPhone for that purpose, but when playing Angry Birds for 8 hours straight the battery gets drained pretty quickly. Good thing I have my books, crosswords, and the interwebs!

Greg made sloppy joes last night, and they were the best sloppy joes ever. He made them from scratch, from a recipe I found online, and they were seriously delicious. I'm loving this whole Greg cooking dinner thing! Although according to him he's getting the better end of the deal, not having to pay for anything. I disagree. I'd rather pay for it and then have my dinner served to me every night. My life pretty much rules.

But SERIOUSLY I want a donut so badly right now!

Can you bring your iPhone/Pod cable to work and plug it in your computer? Or a charger in general? I usually do that since I am reading my Google Reader throughout the day and messing around on Netflix during lunch. My battery is at 20% by 1PM. Whoops! :P

Oh, my. You've kind of read my mind. My kingdom for ANYTHING chocolate right now. Real talk.

I saw your recent tweet about the digestives, and let me just tell you, you are to blame for my resent obsession of digestives. I find myself eating them for breakfast with my coffee now. Which is cool since it keeps me out of starbucks;)

So aside from that, I laughed my butt off at your "womanly moon cycle". That's such a better term for it! Start a revolution with t-shirts and everything!

Elbow paaaatches! :D How very Eleventh Doctor-y of you! I'm starting a collection of elbow patch clothes, hehe!

This donut issue is way to easy to solve. If Greg has been volunteering to cook, then have him make some :D

The hat your coworker made for you is totally adorable- especially with the neutrals you've got going in your outfit. I loves that cardigan. Plural, with an "s" because I love it in multiples.

Okay, so I one hundred percent agree with the title of this post, and I also one hundred percent want a donut now!
Anyway, you look positively lovely. That pink skirt is adorable, that hat is so cute on you, and I've already expressed my love for elbow patches. Wonderful look!

Elbow pads are ammmazing especially with this gorgeous ruffled dress. You look gorgeous.
I have serious cravings for chips and salsa. In fact during my lovely "womanly moon cycles" haha I am eating chips and salsa right now. As I did last night as well. MMMM

where can i get a houseboyfriend? i want my dinner served to me! cute outfit, the hat is the perfect finishing touch.
please dont become an exerciser. i hate those people (but really only when they try to convince me how AWESOME the gym is. cause its not). you live in portland right? just bike to the donut shop and negate the chocolatey goodness.

I make all my friends crochet hats!! I love it! You should learn- it's a blast. It would be a great way to spend your free time, I promise! Crocheting is way better than knitting.

Okay. Now I want doughnuts.

Lovely outfit. And that hat is so nice! Does she make them and sell them anywhere?

Hahaha womanly moon cycle that is brilliant! Much kinda than "grumpy girl pants time" which is what The Boy refers to it as! :|

Love the outfit! Especially the cardigan and hat! If your colleague doesn't already...she should make them and sell them online!

In a perfect world Krispy Kremes would have the same calories as a carrot *sigh* ....if only!

I know I say this a lot, but this is one of my FAVORITE outfits of yours! I love the shade of that pink, especially with a light gray sweater, it's like they were made for each other. You look so pretty and I love you and your clothes! Oh and tell Greg I will buy groceries and he can make me dinner too! Although, Jeff will probably be the main cook in our home, yay boys that cook!

Every time I hear or read about sloppy joes I think about Billy Madison with the lunch lady who "likes em schloppy" . . I haven't eaten sloppy joes since I was about 8! wow.
I love the "elbow patches" and that is cute that people you work with are all into knit stuff. knit things make me itchy!!

You are adorable.

Thanks for leaving the comment Meg! I'm from Dayton! hahaha I usually say McMinnville. I'm working for the company that has the airplane on top of the new waterpark (group sales is what I'm in charge of). It's a pretty small town, but I love it!

I LOOOOOVE your outfit today. Especially that awesome skirt! Best! Again thanks for commenting - being a new blogger every comment tickles my insides:) I'll be following you hahaha not to sound creepy:)

DONUTS! I mentioned donuts in my post again today. Just a wee little mention, but a mention just the same. Why don't you buy some donuts, and then instead of eating them, send them to me? While you're at it, send me that cardigan and a sloppy joe.

I feel you on the chocolate donut cravings once a month. That sounds good right now if I'm being honest.
