Another Bow Blouse

Only one pose was working for me today, apparently, and after editing all of my photos I realized they were all basically the same. Sigh. So here's like three of them.

I feel super bloated, exhausted, and crampy today so it's another short one. Appy-polly-loggies.

I'm wearing: F21 blouse and cardi, H&M skirt and necklace.

Greg and I were going to go out for dinner, but now I don't know if I can move myself from the couch. It was a long day at work, and I've no idea why, but I did nearly finish The Wise Man's Fear. Only about 30 pages left! I'm so sad that it's going to end. When I was younger, whenever I finished a book I particularly loved, I'd usually be in bed reading so I'd clutch the book to my chest and fall asleep that way. I didn't want the story to end, so I'd hold it close in the hope that maybe the characters would end up in my dreams. I know, I'm a nerd, but it comforted me at the end of a story that I didn't want to finish.

Aw, I love your childhood book story! That is so cute! I also love this outfit...that blouse is so lovely, and the color of the skirt is so unique!

You're rocking the girly time blues! You look so pretty and are dresses all nice. I'm in my pajamas scarfing down chocolate like it's goin' out of style. And I am always so so so sad when a book ends. I love that you clutch it close to you as you fall asleep, such a good idea. Feel better friend!

I really love this blouse, it reminds me of two of my favorites put together.

I used to be so depressed when I read a book I loved after it ended. I would carry it around with me for a few days after wards just to look at it and pretend I still had pages left. Nothing better than loving a good book.

You always have the best bow blouses, so cute on you! Looks so great with that skirt (that I'm kicking myself now for not snatching up from H&M when I saw it on sale!)

I feel the same way when I read a good book. It's like you make friends with the characters and then they move away. I think when I was younger I hated that feeling so I would read books that ran in seriers, like Nancy Drew, Babysitter Club...etc. And btw, that skirt is super gorgeous! And with the little heart print cardi it is even cuter!

I didn't sleep with my books but I would often devour them with such gusto that I would cry because they were over too soon. I think that's why I read so many series(es*), so they wouldn't end so soon. I get too connected with the characters to let them go. :) I definitely cried after reading the last HP.

(Side note: What the eff is the plural of series?!)

ughh that SKIRT and that BLOUSE, I LOVE THEM. lace and green are my favorites. send greg to get you some chocolate. when i was little, i always used to stay up reading, and i'd wake up with my glasses still on and the book in my bed.

this is the most disjointed comment ever, please ignore that i apparently don't know how to transition smoothly from topic to topic. feel better meg!!

i never slept with my books but I did always want my favorite characters to take a stroll with me into dreamland. Just a FYI, if you should decide to watch a particular duck and human make out scene, be prepared to have some really weird dreams :)

it's always so sad to be almost done with a book but sometimes so satisfying if it was a good one. don't you think? I love the pussybow blouse you're wearing!!

Aw, your little book story is sooo cute! I think I used to cry when I finished a good book, or Harry Potter. I'm such a lameo haha.

Bleh for girly time blues, but you look adorable and I want to steal all of your bow blouses.

I can totally sympathize. I would also sometimes dream alternate endings for books if I had to go to bed at an exciting part.

yay for bow blouses.

I love everything about this outfit! That shirt is awesome with the huge bow (I think bows make everything so very fun). Sweet skirt as well. So similar as well about book reading. I never want a good story to end and am often sad when it does. I just read the book again :-)
