Fuck Yeah Friday

Welcome to the desert of the 40-hour work week. (Yeah that was a "90s reference" right there, thanks judgey judge-pants!) This has been the absolute wooorrrst week in recent memory. I'm overwhelmed with stress about the grad school application process, out of money (thanks a lot passport), sleep-deprived, and gaining weight even though I've been eating healthy all week. Then yesterday I got the worst call ever at work and it was not fun. Also yesterday I spilled boiling hot pasta on myself and the couch. Fail.

Today is looking up, though! Despite a continued lack of interest in social interaction, I don't feel like I want to curl up into a ball and die either. Plus it's Friday. So that's an automatic ten points to Gryffindor Meg's happiness.

I'm wearing: Target dress, H&M cardi and necklace.

I actually took these photos yesterday, because I'm apparently a day behind with my posts. This is good though, because now when I get home I can just collapse on the couch without worrying about my blog. Ha! Fridays rule! Endless possibilities for napping.

Tomorrow I'm going to get a bunch of stuff done for my grad school applications, which is exciting. I can't wait to get this all finished and out of the way so I can sit and wait for my (hopefully) acceptance letters. Ahh!

Oh, and this outfit is great! So sweet.

Meg! I think that this week was "Let's kick those bloggers' asses" week because I feel ya. Here's another 90s reference for you: "I smell what you're steppin in, gerrrl."

So watch a marathon of a cheesy show and pig out. Always helps me. :)

BAH! I almost bought that dress but I had no monies :( You look very sweet!

Sorry about the shitty week. Work can really suck major ass at times. At least you have to weekend to chill a bit. Good luck with all the grad-school stuff and make sure you put aside some time for yourself.

AND your outfit is the cutest thing in the world! Extra points for you and Gryffindor both! Loving the tan with the black <3 and the frills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like frills

Hopefully today is just the start of better days ahead. Quit spillin' pasta on yourself and remember you're getting a crap ton of packages in the mail over the next week. Packages, I might add, carrying cute clothes (not anthrax)- That's definitely a reason to stay positive!

I hear ya on the "worst week ever" thing :( CUTE OUTFIT, though, and glad your weekend's looking up! I especially like the framing of your fourth shot - so artsy!

oooooh I totally have that dress too, but I haven't felt like I had a nice enough occasion to wear it. then i realized I think that about a lot of my clothes and thus they never get worn. I decided I no longer need an occasion to look fancy!

You pull it off great! :)

I'm sorry to hear about your less than spectacular week, but this only means that it's only going to get better! Next week will be the week of Meg. Plus, your week couldn't have been THAT bad, because your posts this week freaking rule. I love your dress so much and I want it. It's so pretty and pink and frilly and all things magical. Because yes, pink+frilly+pretty = MAGICAL. Which, obviously you already knew. :)
