Brain Goo

My brain isn't working today. It's too hot out. I think my grey matter has melted into a brain smoothie inside my skull. Gross. These are the thoughts happening inside my mind. I would not go so far as to call them thoughts, actually. More like neural poop.

I'm wearing: F21 top and earrings, Old Navy skirt and flats, Wet Seal belt, Ralph Lauren sunglasses.

I actually like my outfit today, surprisingly! This skirt gets way too much wear, as it's the perfect length, comfy, and black so it goes with everything. I try not to go overboard with styling it too often, but sometimes it's just the only thing I can wear on a hot day when my brain has melted to goo.

Awww yeah, I'm gonna stuff my face with watermelon in a sec here! Watermelon... mmmmm...

Also note how this final picture is pretty much exactly the same as the one in my previous outfit post. Somebody's running out of poses...

Melted brain is never good.. It's been crazy hot here, as well. Sigh. I really like this outfit. I'm in desperate need of a simple black skirt-- I forget about basics and end up buying crazy patterned skirts and lace that never go with too much. :)

Look at the midriff! Sexy, I love it... that takes a lot of confidence (at least, according to me ;) I bought a semi-cropped vintage top yesterday so I'm working up the courage to bear the belly as well!

Love that you're rocking the mid riff today. I was contemplating it, alright, I was playing in my room with a crop top and tights... knowing I would never sport it in public :D But I love your casual hair up, showing the belly off look, and that skirt is marvellous! Like you said, it's so basic (and black) it has endless possibilities!

You look so cute and small here. How tall are you? I'm just wondering because photos can be misleading. My friend Sara thought I was a shorty and I'm 5'7"!

Watermelon on a hot day? Perfect for brain mooshiness xx

Oh you're a super shorty! I love short people! I always wanted to be one :D hahaha.
I've been pretty much this height since I was 13. There was a time when I was one of the shortest people that would go out on weekends but I think my friends were all just really tall :D haha.

Oh and they wouldn't give you a heart attack - they are surprisingly healthy. One egg, a sprinkle of cheese and a tiny bit of bacon - less than a rasher. Haha.

Dare you to try them :)

"Neural poop" has just topped the list of great terms! This outfit is so cute, it's the perfect "go to" outfit when your brain turns into mashed potatoes.

Haha yeah, both have their good and bad pts :D I never even thought about the couch nap (we must have a long couch coz ours is fine for me) but I love that little people can wear heels. All the time if they want (and their feet can hack it ya know?)... My bf is already a few cms shorter than me and I look like a monster in heels. So I save it for when Im going out on the town with my gfs :

This is a very cute, relaxed summer outfit! I always find it so hard posing, and feel awkward for my pictures, so I totally understand. I just found your blog and I am enjoying it! THanks!

It's a beautiful picture, though! You look super cool and expensive!

Yay for you liking your outfit! It's progress, no? The brain goo part... Maybe not so much. Hopefully the watermelon helped it out! My two new obsessions when it's too hot to think are frozen grapes and frozen mango. They're both utterly tasty.

Your outfit is so sweet and simple! I love the patterning on the top (points for midriff baring, too!), and the necklace and earrings looks so lovely with everything. Old Navy sure does know how to make great basic skirts!

Aw this is a great outfit and I'm glad you like it too! It's almost too hot to think in the summer. I think my brain melts away in June. Probably why I had such a hard time in my summer class...
